NewsOne of the most exciting services we offer is a Mobile Pregnancy Center, similar to a bloodmobile. Through this, we provide free and confidential pregnancy tests and limited ultrasounds at different sites around the county. The Mobile Pregnancy Center is key to the biblical approach we are taking. We plan to GO TO the world by taking the Mobile Pregnancy Center to where young women shop, live, work or go to school.
In the spring of 2009, we purchased a fully-equipped Mobile Pregnancy Center using the faithful donations of our many supporters.
In the back of the Mobile Pregnancy Center is a sonogram (ultrasound) machine, where young men and women can see their unborn children up close and personal.
Clients are counseled in the living room area where trained volunteers educate them about the unborn baby’s development, and encourage them to slow down and thoughtfully consider parenting and adoption options.
Currently, we are offering client services; Mondays 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm we park near Publix at the Shoppes at Murabella, on State Road 16 & Pacetti Road in World Golf Village, Tuesdays 11:00 am - 5:30 pm we park near Winn-Dixie at 355 North Ponce de Leon Blvd. in St. Augustine, and Fridays 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm we are offering services in the Staples parking lot US 1 South in St. Augustine.
We welcome your ideas about other areas in St. Johns County where we could park the motor home on a weekday on a regular weekly basis, to reach women facing unplanned pregnancies.
